Introduction into Assessment and Treatment of Eating Disorders with Dr. Tiffany Loggins
This course reviews the current literature on several different eating disorders: Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding or eating disorders. This course reviews the history, clinical presentation, and etiology, cultural considerations, health risks and safety, and differentiating between eating disorders. Explore recommended treatments including therapeutic interventions and approaches, various levels of care, and pharmacological treatments.

At the end of the workshop, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify 2 ways to integrate culturally sensitive interventions to better understand symptom presentation and differences within diverse populations.
2. Describe 3 key aspects of AN, BN, BED and ARFID.
3. Utilize 3 clinical standards for assessment and treatment of individuals with eating disorders.
