Join Boost for an upcoming Bright Spots live engagement that will take place on September 29 at 1:00 PM GMT, honoring the work of the late Adelaide Shearley, a Regional Immunization Technical Adviser with John Snow Inc. in Zimbabwe, who recently passed away in January 2021 – one of millions of casualties worldwide of COVID-19.
Adelaide and her JSI colleague Coscar Zvamashakwe led a team to implement a simple tracking tool that facilitates community engagement and mutual accountability to promote immunization called, My Village My Home (MVMH) in the Manicaland Province in eastern Zimbabwe.
During the session, audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their experiences with peers. Before this session, be sure to read their full story - now available on the Bright Spots site (https://brightspots.boostcommunity.org)!
Join us to learn more about the MVMH tool and the importance of shared learnings amongst different areas, communities, and countries, especially in an era of dwindling resources for immunization.
