Living Non-Violently in a Violent World
The Legacy of Popes John Paul II, Benedict XVI, and Francis
Presenters: Rev. Msgr. Albert Kirk and Therese Gustaitis

Three hope-filled virtual sessions that address negativity and violence in our world today. The “WHY” and “HOW” will encourage a non-violent way of living. The “WHEN” of this course offers a very flexible approach for busy participants.
“WHY” will be answered through the lenses of our 21st Century popes.

“HOW” will be an offering of practical suggestions to live a non-violent spirituality. An online toolkit will be available.

“WHEN” offers flexibility. Each session is self-contained; participants will benefit from attending one or all the sessions.

Recordings will be available afterward on the Pax Christi USA YouTube page.

Rev. Msgr. Al Kirk is Pastor Emeritus of Church of the Holy Spirit in Memphis, TN. Although retired from administration, he continues to be active in ministry. He shares from the perspective of someone who has lived (and encouraged others to live) the lifestyle of the non-violent Jesus.

Therese Gustaitis is retired from Catholic Charities of West Tennessee. Her life history includes parish work, long term care administration and volunteer ombudsman. She shares as a lay woman, mother, and grandmother.
