Pimento Marketing Spice Live: Future of Retail
The retail landscape has been in a state of upheaval long before Covid hit as retailers and consumer behaviours changed over the years. Without a doubt, Covid has accelerated online retail - UK online sales grew 74% (YOY) in January 2021 and mobile commerce accelerated by 169% in the same month according to eConsultancy – and forced older generations to shop online.

However, Bricks and Mortar is still essential in the way consumers shop, with 70% of sales still attributed to B&M according to the latest ONS data. It is no wonder that online retailers are looking at B&M to help deliver the omnichannel experience consumers want and one that is currently lacking online.

This is a panel event looking at the state of UK retail - from bricks and mortar to eCommerce. Hosted by Stephen Knight, with guests Andrew Cowen from Bluespark Strategy, Tom Molyneux from KRPT, Sue Benson from The Behaviours Agency, where we will be discussing what brands need to be considering to drive sales and help consumers shop in their preferred ways.
