Join us for this innovative webinar, which will share clinical and creative perspectives on coping in the time of Covid.
Our clinical presenter will be Larissa Malcolm, LISW a psychotherapist who contracted Covid-19 in the course of her work in a long-term care facility, and owner of Flourishing Focus, a private practice providing therapy via telehealth. Larissa is on a mission to support the mental health during Covid. When she’s not doing the stuff mentioned above, Larissa loves cuddling with her dogs, Ace and Deuce, while reading historical fiction. On really stressful days, you can find her sitting by Lake Erie listening to the waves rumble and roar.
Melissa McClelland, freelance food and set stylist, recipe developer and food writer, will offer her take on coping through creativity. Melissa’s styling clients range from international home furnishings corporations to food magazines. She has been a staff recipe tester and developer for Eating Well Magazine, a food stylist for Bon Appetite, and a contributor to Edible Cleveland. Her newest project is the transformation of her Cleveland Heights front yard into a traditional French kitchen garden. Her work may be seen at www.stylingmel.com.
Registrants will receive a recipe for a comforting dish to prepare ahead of time as well as a material list to create a comforting craft. We hope you will share how your recipe turned out and craft along with us while our experts discuss the importance of comfort to our mental health and well-being.
