We aim to help mobilise action for securing growing space for allotments and community gardens so that those of you who want to grow food have access to a space for doing so.
The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act provides the moral authority to assert that people have a right to be able to grow food and to exercise power through their local community to gain access to land.
A recent online meeting gave us a chance to start a dialogue with representatives of Glasgow City Council, as the local authority responsible for managing land usage.
If you weren't there, you can catch up via the report: https://glasgowallotments.org/2020/11/11/report-next-steps-action-for-new-allotments/.
