In his presentation, Joe will be pointing out highlights related to material and information contained within his exhibit. This will include identification of two errors found in the fifth edition of the American Air Mail Catalog and one piece of information referred to but not presented in that same reference. He will also point out unusual philatelic and historical information presented through the exhibit.

The presentation explores the development and use of the 1924 Panama Arms issue within the Isthmus of Panama. The focus will be on the short usage of the Canal Zone overprint and the use of the basic Panama issue within the Canal Zone. This will include material from the American Bank Note Archives, postal history, and unissued stamps.
Kurt Streepy is the secretary/treasurer of the First Issue Collectors Club and a member of numerous philatelic organizations including APS, Canal Zone Study Group, COPAPHIL, USPPS, AAPE, and Collectors Club of New York to name a few. Kurt has been collecting stamps and postal history since the age of 10. His areas of collecting focus include stamps and postal history related to First Issues of the World, Hawaii, and Canal Zone. He also maintains collections of US and other US Possession stamps. Kurt presented two APS StampChats in 2020 that are available on the APS YouTube Channel (Hawaii and First Issues of the World). A third StampChat is scheduled for June on the Canal Zone.
