Navigating Parkinson’s is a 6-part series that provides a roadmap for people with Parkinson's to learn how to actively manage key symptoms and improve their well-being and quality of life. Each workshop lasts 60 minutes, covering key topics related to Parkinson's and providing practical tools for effective management. Session 6: Overcoming Exercise Barriers in Parkinson's Regular exercise is crucial for people living with Parkinson's as it can help improve their overall quality of life and possibly slow down the progression of the disease. However, starting and maintaining an exercise regimen can be challenging. In this program, Parkinson's specialists Josefa Domingos and John Dean share strategies to overcome common obstacles to exercise and establish a routine that is both enjoyable and beneficial.
