Government 4.0 2022 – Tues 25th Jan – 10:00am to 1:00pm
With Local Authorities needing to deliver local services in the midst of Covid absenteeism, changing social distancing and other guidelines, the use of automation and other 4.0 technologies is becoming evermore important and in some cases, necessary.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is being utilised across Local Government, Social Housing & the NHS to:

triage important human resource into service contacts that needs the skills and empathy that only interaction with a person can provide.
deliver data synchronisation across multiple systems in different service areas.
migrate large amounts of data from one source to another, during out of hours to save on work time lost.
Automating mundane low impact tasks which increases job satisfaction
provide integration between front and back office to create end to end digital transformation.

This session will include ideas and tips from Local Gov RPA innovators and provide attendees with ideas of how to move their 2022 RPA plans forward.

Low-code/no-code has become popular with Local Government organisations that wish to take back control of their service transformation or that need to augment the functionality of existing systems.

Being able to develop minimum viable products (MVPs) which can be used to achieve a purpose but then also to be able to iterate them in an agile way and also create multiple solutions using the one platform which means reducing IT/App/Software spend is helping Local Gov to respond to the Covid crisis and future-proof their service delivery.

We’ll hear from and talk to councils and other organisations that have adopted this strategy.

Smart Assistants, ChatBots & WebChat have provided Local Government and the wider public sector with the technology that can:

free up valuable & skilled staff from having to deal with routine service enquiries.
provide 24/7 citizen access to a number of service areas, in whatever communication channel they prefer.
