The Canadian Sponsorship Landscape Study (CSLS) provides the most comprehensive information on the scope, scale and trends of Canada’s sponsorship industry, including industry size, spending by sector, activation trends, evaluation practices, strategic priorities and future outlook. This session will review the results of the 13th annual CSLS and outline the trends in the industry in Canada, going back to 2006. The study draws on the insights of Canadian brands, properties and agencies to provide information that is relevant and ethical. The CSLS seeks to provide outstanding sponsorship expertise for sponsors, properties and agencies. Commentary will be made on the impact of the current COVID-19 crisis on the industry.
