My Garden is a Square | Storytime & A Visit to Numberland

Hi Everyone,

You are welcome to attend a Special event of listening to Anusha's Storytime and visiting Numberland with Mark Hansen & Barbara Schindelhauer.

The event will start with Anusha's Storytime, where she will read "My Garden is a Square".

The book "My Garden is a Square" came to life with collaboration from two global education influencers, Mark Hansen representing Australia and Barbara Schindelhauer representing Germany.

We will be visiting the Numberland journey with Mark and Barbara, where: Mark will share his story with a background on why maths is essential, promote positive mathematical beliefs as distilled in his first children's book, "Math for All". He will discuss what makes a mathematician, as well as general advice for parents regarding how they can best help their children.

And Barbara will discuss the history of Numberland and the research around showing why it works. We will have various techniques and resources to take along the way.
