Gardening for Wildlife
There's nothing better than walking into a lush green garden knowing that you've created a lovely sanctuary for you and a wonderful home for wildlife. Join us for Gardening for Wildlife, a Naturescaping Fundamentals workshop hosted by the Backyard Habitat Certification Program, Clackamas River Basin Council, Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District, and the National Wildlife Federation of Oregon.

In this two session workshop, you'll learn how to create wildlife-friendly spaces in your own yard or community area by incorporating native plants and wildlife habitat components. You'll also learn how to attract beneficial insects and pollinators utilizing naturescaping design tips, You will earn about rain gardens and gain recognition for sustainable gardening practices through local certification programs.

BONUS: after the second session, hosts will be available for an extra hour to offer personalized consultation on your garden plan.

PRIZES: Lucky winners will be selected to take home prizes (mason bee homes, books and more). Local pickup only please.
