Appropriate Setting (Remote Learning), for Family Child Care Professionals Post-COVID
Distance Learning Description: Throughout the state, Family Childcare professionals faced the reality of school closures due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). After school children and youth were being cared for in their homes longer than usual. A significant area of concern as we navigated the circumstances is how to proceed, given that the focus of learning shifted from schools to homes. During this virtual session, participants will discuss practical ways to incorporate remote learning into their day (the new normal). Explore ways to organize your space, create a schedule that supports children from birth to school-age, and adapt to the unknow (hybrid, remote learning, etc.) this fall.
