In a world filled with situations beyond our control, it is safe to assume we have/will experience trauma at some point in our lives. Understanding what exactly trauma is, our responsibility to care for and empathize with ourselves and others, and how to create healthy self-care and compassion routines is key to navigating our human experience. In this presentation, you will be given foundational knowledge about trauma, how it impacts our nervous system, and some tools for supporting healing.
Presented by Taylor Chetty, a trauma educator and MSW student at the University of Regina. With over 7 years of professionally working in and around trauma, Taylor's expert perspective will not be one you want to miss.
