Synchrony Demonstration

The live remote Synchrony Dysphagia Solutions by ACP demonstration will provide attendees with an overview of how sEMG (surface electromyography) visual biofeedback enhances assessment and treatment for patients with dysphagia. It will include the following:
• Discussion of sEMG and its role in evidence based practice for dysphagia rehabilitation
• Education on clinical resources and support available
• Operation and navigation of software
• Demonstration for set up of patient use
• Demonstration of assessment and intervention options
• Showcase variety of graphic and virtual reality visualizations
• Description of parameter setting and objective data available
• Q&A

Presented by: Dawn Morrow, MA CCC-SLP
Dawn Morrow is a Speech-Language Pathologist currently in the role of Clinical Program Consultant for ACP’s Synchrony dysphagia program. Dawn has worked in healthcare for over 20 years. Although she has spent the last ten years of her career in regional management, she has never stepped away from treating. She has worked in many settings including public school, acute care, home health, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation. Dawn has always enjoyed training other therapists to develop skills to achieve optimum patient outcomes and loves having the opportunity to do that with ACP.
