Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, the practice of psychic sleep, is a systematic deep relaxation practice which induces the state of pratyahara or sense withdrawal.

The practice is taught in laying on the floor. As you are guided through the stages, your awareness is drawn gently inwards, bringing the body to complete stillness and quietening the mind to induce a state of deep relaxation. In this 'hypnagogic state', the body rests but the mind remains alert.

Suitable for new experienced yoga students, who wish to increase energy levels, calm a busy mind or who would like to improve their relaxation response.

Wear warm comfortable clothing, have a thin cushion, a blanket and any extra padding you might need. The class does not include any posture work.
