Gentle Vinyasa Yoga for Strength
Gentle Vinyasa yoga class is great for beginners and those getting back into yoga. It is for all levels and abilities.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga where you connect the movements of your body to your breath. Gentle Vinyasa takes time to isolate movements as your body begins to open itself, piecing the sections of poses into a flow later in the class. Flowing through these sequences to build strength and stamina during your practice.
Winding down with soothing postures that make savasana easier to find.
Give yourself the gift of fluid movement and peace of mind.

*Can be done with a chair for move control
A space in which you can spread out arms and legs like a Star. An exercise mat or yoga mat is best, if you do not have one try to have a non-slip area that you can use. It is best to be barefoot in most of the class.
It would be beneficial to have yoga/exercise blocks or a stack of books. These are used to bring the floor closer and let the chest be open.
A Strap, Belt, or scarf. Possibly a second chair for even more toning and isolation.
Pillows and blankets can be helpful for floor poses and savasana.
Wear comfy cloths.
You might want some of your own calming music to play in the background.
