Me Time - Managing your Mind - Assertiveness
Join us for session 3 with Sure for Mental Health trainer, Jennie Dowsell.

Assertiveness can be defined in a multitude of ways: it is a state of mind, a mode of behaviour, and a communication technique combined into one. Mastering assertiveness can be the key to unlocking confidence, improving communications and conflict resolution, getting respect from others, and it can lead to a better quality of life. By the end of this 2-hour webinar you will be able to define assertiveness and outline the differences between assertiveness, passivity and aggression; look at the barriers to assertiveness; and learn new methods and skills to become more assertive. There will also be a chance to give this a go!

What is 'Me Time'?

'Me Time' is a chance to do something for your own enjoyment. These online sessions, funded by the Welsh Government, are a place where you can get involved in a range of activities that you may not be able to do normally and explore new opportunities. We will be doing all sorts of things ranging from group viewings of the great wonders of the world, to physical exercise to relaxation and mindfulness and so much more.

These sessions are all about you and your wellbeing.
