This January 27th we have Marguerit Galindo, Peer Specialist Workforce Development Coordinator for the Wisconsin Peer Specialist Employment Initiative, facilitating a conversation and exploration of "Supporting Peer Specialist Professional Development."
Come and discuss with others how to support a vibrant team of people in peer specialist roles through professional development. We'll explore together what a professional development can look like when oriented specifically to CPS and CPPS roles and how this can build an organizational culture of learning and growth.
About this Event:
Our Supervisors of CPS & CPPS Community of Practice is a gathering for peer supervisors of Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Parent Peer Specialists to learn and grow together.
This Community of Practice is for people who can say both of the following:
1. I have worked as a Certified Peer Specialist, Certified Parent Peer Specialist, or in a similar peer role and have my own relevant lived experience.
2. I also supervise other Certified Peer Specialists or Certified Parent Peer Specialists in Wisconsin or am looking to develop supervisory/organizational leadership skills.
If the above is true for you, please join us as we seek to learn and grow together how to improve professional peer support and parent peer support services in Wisconsin!
