Community Conversations; The Warmth of Connecticut Suns
The Great Migration, so eloquently explored in Isabel Wilkerson's "The Warmth of Other Suns," was a mass movement of Black Americans from the rural South to urban centers across the North and West – and also to Connecticut's cities and small towns.

What attracted Black Americans to Connecticut? And what did they experience when they arrived?

In this third and final program of our summer Community Conversations series, we'll hear from a panel comprising academics who study the Great Migration and community members whose families were part of it.
