With top US astrologer Christopher Renstrom
Saturn has always occupied an uncomfortable position in astrology. By turns feared and loathed, it was the planet associated with the Jews, black people, slaves, the elderly and the destitute - unlike its more recent association with rigid authority and the moneyed classes.
So how did this come about? Drawing on art, iconography and literature Christopher will reconstruct Saturn’s secret history and show a different way of looking at a planet that is often stigmatised.
In recent years Saturn has been held up as the shadow aspect of our horoscope, something we need to integrate in order to become whole. But what if Saturn’s job is to stubbornly resist assimilation?
Christopher will illustrate his ideas using the birthcharts of some infamous contemporary Americans.
