October Resilience Workshop: Democracy as Climate Resilience
Climate resilience is defined as Climate Mitigation + Climate Adaptation + Deep Democracy. Less than a month away from election day, democracy is on our minds. But what is Deep Democracy and why is it important for climate resilience?

Join us for this workshop in our resilience series to learn how your community can become a resilience hub by engaging in the democratic process. We'll hear from experts about the intersection of voting, public policy, and climate displacement. You'll learn how to advocate for policies that build resilience and how to build a more resilient democracy for all.

Speakers include:
Dallas Conyers, Co-chair Southeast Faith Leaders Network
Kristina Peterson, PhD, The Lowlander Center

Oct 20, 2020 06:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
