Understanding Mental Health Issues and How to Deal with them - a Christian Perspective
Mental health issues such as depression and suicidal tendencies are increasing in the population and Christians are not spared. How should we view mental health issues amongst Christ believers? Doesn't the bible say that we have the mind of Christ and that the Holy Spirit empowers us for godly living? So how is it that Christians can still experience mental health issues? How can we build resilience and cultivate and develop a healthy mind? How can we develop a biblical perspective in overcoming depression? This highly interactive 2 part session would help us to understand mental health issues especially depression and suicidal tendencies from a Christian perspective and how we can respond and provide help to those experiencing such situations.
