Four Resources for North County Manufacturers
Log-on to this FREE Webinar to get a briefing and overview of four programs designed to provide manufacturers with support to help them remain competitive and thriving.

Topics to be covered include:

Employment Training Panel Funds: Every year the state of California provides businesses with millions of dollars to support employee training. But we know that ETP funds are often difficult to obtain and often require too much paperwork. Rob Sanger from the California Manufacturing and Technology Association will discuss a new program CMTA has which helps alleviate the bureaucratic burdens and can help North County manufacturers of all sizes access these funds, often for training they are already doing.

SDG&E Programs for Manufactures: Several programs are available to assist manufactures including economic development incentives rates, rate audits to make sure your firm is accessing energy at the most cost effective way and free energy audits to look for ways to use energy more efficiently. SDG&E will review the programs and tell you how to start the process of accessing these benefits.

California Competes tax credit: The state of California has a competitive tax grant program designed for companies in high-value sectors like manufacturing that are candidates for expansion or which are at danger of relocating out of state. Representatives from the state will provide an overview of the program, how to access and to prepare your firm to file a winning application for this competitive program.

Community College Partnerships: Throughout North County manufacturers large and small have partnered with workforce developers at our local community colleges. Linda Kurakawa from MiraCosta College will provide an overview of how her college and others can bring specific value to your company.

More than 57,000 people are employed by North County manufacturers and together the industry contributes more than $15.8 Billion in Gross Regional Product to the San Diego region.
