During this 10-hour, four-day virtual course, you will investigate your movement in relation to your personality, interactive style, and unique surrounding conditions. You will practice skills that you might have missed or never fully mastered such as moving with agility along the floor, and quadrupedally on hands and knees, or hands and feet and explore how these skills relate to everyday posture and walking as well as practicing dance, martial arts, physical theatre, and yoga. This course fulfills 1/5 pre-requisite theory course requirements for the Certified Teacher of BodyMind Dancing and is hosted by Dynamic Embodiment (this course was planned to be hosted by Manhattan Marymount College and is now being hosted through DE).
June 7, 8, 10, 11 2021. 11:30am-2:00pm EDT.
Please note: Wednesday there is no session, but the Zoom room will be available for those who want to form a study group.
