Description: Reflex Locomotion is the therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Vaclav Vojta to treat children with and at risk to develop cerebral palsy. His work has evolved through its 70 years of existence to include treating the broadest range of conditions from Dupuytren's contracture and hip dysplasia to spinal cord lesions and stroke victims. Dr. Vojta's work is the foundation of DNS, of which Dr. Lewit once introduced as the future of manual therapy.
Our webinar will discuss Vojta's principles of movement development and the application of the therapeutic approach for neurological and orthopedic conditions. We will discuss positions, stimulation zones, and scientific literature that supports and explains its applications.
