Webinar Wednesdays - Mind Works: (It doesn't work the way you think it does) with Anne Thistleton
We have spent our careers striving to truly connect with customers and consumers—to present ideas that immediately resonate with our target audience and drive the desired actions. Sometimes we got it right; often we missed the mark. Now emerging science has revealed that the mind doesn’t work like we thought it did, so no wonder we frequently missed.

With even a basic understanding of how the mind really does work, not only you will gain insight into past work but more importantly, this new lens should enable you to see more effective approaches to optimize your ideas. This is not about formulas but instead basic principles to support and inspire creativity and strategy.

About our speaker:

Anne Thistleton, Mind Science Practitioner, is a Harvard MBA, and a 30-year consumer-marketing veteran, having worked across six continents and diverse industries. Since arriving in South Africa 20 years ago to lead strategy for The Coca-Cola Company, her passion has been the mind and, specifically how our mental operating system processes the communications that are constantly being created for us.

She is the Founding Partner of LIGHT Consulting, and for the past fifteen years she and her team have worked with clients around the world developing specific marketing-focused applications, testing and improving them with multi-nationals, South African companies, ad agencies, even political parties. During her years of study and application development she has worked with many of the world's leading cognitive psychologists, neuroscientists and behavioural economists.
