If you are working with anyone who is, currently working or going back to work and is receiving cash benefits, you should ONLY work with a CPWIC/CWIC(Community Partner Work Incentive coordinator). Why? They are the only ones who are certified to provide this service. They know the ins and outs of social security regarding work and other services(Medicaid/Medicare, SNAP, waiver’s, VA etc.). To be able to bill for these services through DVR or Medicaid, you have to be certified through either VCU or Cornell.
