Maccabi USA Sports Show with Geoff Schwartz, former NFL Offensive Guard
What does a 6 ft. 6 in., 340 lbs., Jewish offensive guard eat to keep weight…? An excess of Matzo ball soup and latkes of course. At least that was the case for former NFL offensive guard, Geoff Schwartz who along with his brother Mitchell were the first pair of Jewish brothers to compete in the NFL since Ralph and Arnold Horween in 1923. Join Donna and Arnie as they sit down with Geoff on Tuesday, August 4 at 8 PM EDT to talk everything football, what it was like to be a Jew playing in the NFL and maybe even dig up some old Bar-Mitzvah pictures!
