Launch Event for the “Utility-Scale Solar in Sudan” Report

Terra Energy is pleased to invite you to join us virtually in the launch event of the “Utility-Scale Solar in Sudan” Report.

The launch event is organized by Terra Energy in collaboration with Savannah Innovation Labs.

The launch will consist of two keynote speeches, a presentation on the report, and a discussion panel. The launch will conclude with a Q&A session, and a networking session.

The discussion panel title is “Unlocking Sudan's Solar Potential: The Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Developing Solar Projects”. The panel discussion will focus on the development of utility-scale solar projects in Sudan and the need for an enabling environment to support their growth. The discussion will cover a range of topics, including Sudan's renewable energy policy landscape, the potential of solar energy in Sudan, the challenges encountered in developing the Al Fashir 5 MW solar power plant, and the lessons learned from this project. The importance of public-private partnerships, standardized power purchase agreements, updated grid codes, and improved grid infrastructure will also be discussed as key elements of an enabling environment.
