Law for Non-profits: Employment Law
What crucial elements of employment law should non-profit leaders be aware of? This session will cover key human resource and employment standards lessons for board members and management staff. We will discuss how the law treats various categories of personnel that typically support a non-profit (e.g., volunteers, contractors and permanent staff), their rights, and employer obligations.

Presenter Jonathan Arkle is a lawyer with Doak Shirreff Lawyers LLP in Kelowna and specializes in employment and human resource law. This webinar is delivered in partnership with Kelowna Community Resources Society.
