North East England RIG: How evolving cyber threats affect your business

One of Europe's largest insurance companies, Zurich, has warned that cyber may become uninsurable in the future if disruption caused by hackers continues to grow.

This webinar, hosted by Andrew Marvin, will help you understand the current cyber threats to businesses and organisations from a generic perspective, including how cybercriminals work and possible controls for the future. It will also look into the impact that the conflict in Ukraine has had on cyber threats.

We will then discuss how businesses can help themselves, the insurance industry’s approach to these evolving risks, what happens in a claims scenario and insurers’ plans to help proactively.

Andrew Marvin is a Regional Client Service Director and National Cyber Lead for Gallagher UK retail. He works closely with risk management teams and specialist cyber markets, helping clients and colleagues understand the cyber risk, its impact and how to control it. Marvin also sits on the national BIBA (British Insurance Brokers Association) cyber committee, looking at macro issues in cyber risk and how insurers help to control the risks.
