Hey, Intrepid Episcopalians

Did you know that you have the right to meet with your elected officials?

Veteran community organizer, Adonis Flores, of Michigan United, will teach us how to meet with our elected representatives and senators!

Join us to learn how to:
Request a meeting with your rep or senator (state or fed);
Set up the meeting;
Prepare a script;
Tell a compelling story of personal experience;
Make the “ask” at the end of the meeting.

We’ll do role plays to help you get comfortable in doing this.

We'll cover do’s and don’ts so that you can maximize your time with the politician or staff member.

It’s not as intimidating as it sounds, especially with some practice.
