Telematic Collisions - Orchestra Workshop with ACO

This Telematic Collisions concert will connected us to a live Orchestra workshop happening at the Dimenna Center in New York City. This workshop will feature the American Composers Orchestra in New York City at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music, Madeline Hocking on Violin, Gaurab Chatterjee on Percussion, and Trevor New on Viola playing Cohere Touch by Trevor New. There will be 3 audiences, one in-person at the Dimenna Center, another in-person at Madeline's performance site, and here on Zoom all interacting together and effecting the sound through movement.

Trevor has developed an interactive system that will pair with an orchestra piece he is currently creating for a concert with the American Composers Orchestra in June. It will allow participants to visually and sonically interact as though both spaces were one.
