As we kick off the new year, we’ll hear from a few community-based organizations that are working to address food insecurity in Los Angeles. They will discuss how they have had to pivot due to the coronavirus pandemic, how they envision their work changing in 2021, and what opportunities exist for health clinics and CBO’s to collaborative to address food insecurity in a post-COVID world.
We hope hearing lessons learned and considerations about what comes next from a CBO perspective will help you think about how best to move your MCU work forward, and what opportunities may exist to build or strengthen partnerships to address social needs. Leveraging our analogous example mindsets, teams will be able to gather inspiration and insights that can be applied to social needs even beyond food security.
This webinar is open to all MCU participants but not required for the whole team. We encourage participation from team members or organizational staff that are involved in the planning and implementation of social needs strategies. This webinar is also open to the general public and we invite you to pass this webinar opportunity to others in your network.
