1700 Years of Jewish Life in German-Speaking Lands
We're thrilled to welcome genealogist, Karen Franklin, and IJHS Executive Director, Mike Brown, to speak about the history and genealogy of German-speaking Jews in Europe and in Indiana. These presentations are accompanied by an exhibit from the Leo Baeck Institute, "1700 Years of Jewish Life in German-Speaking Lands." We highly recommend that you join us in-person at the ACPL Genealogy Center so that you can view the exhibit. If you are unable to do so, use the registration form below to get the link for the virtual presentations. Karen Franklin will present her "Genealogical Journey," focusing on eight items from the exhibit, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Mike Brown will begin at 3:30 p.m. with "Early Indiana Synagogues and the Germanic Period of Indiana Jewish History." The same link will work for both programs.
