Intersections of Global Reproductive and Economic Justice in Research and Activism
The first event in our Feminist Economics of Global Reproductive Justice series will contextualize and define reproductive justice globally, highlighting the economic justice intersections, and bring together activists and researchers to discuss building connections to support movements. The keynote speaker, then the panel, will highlight the current global landscape, including the ripple effects of the overturn of Roe v. Wade, and discuss the intersections with broader development goals as well as economic justice. We believe this will provide a critical framing for economists/feminist economists as they find areas of contribution within research and advocacy to support movements for reproductive justice.

Keynote: Sivananthi Thanenthiran, Executive Director, ARROW
Panel: Giselle Carino, Director and CEO, Fòs Feminista; Sachini Perera, Executive Coordinator, RESURJ
Moderator: Kate Bahn, Chief Economist, Washington Center for Equitable Growth
