QiGong/Chair Yoga with Sabrina
A mellow, smooth practice focusing on the breath and the effect of the breath on the movement of the body, both physically and energetically. Chair Yoga will utilize the advantage of a chair in opening the body for a continuous flow of energy, or Qi. We use props to aid us in certain poses or as a tool to help us go deeper into poses. We can explore many poses like Warrior II and Tree pose all with the guidance of the chair! Of course if there is anything you do not feel comfortable doing you can always take a seat and focus on your breath. If you have yoga blocks at home, please bring them.

If you do not have yoga blocks or forget them I will have several pairs of extra blocks on hand. This Chair Yoga/Qi Gong fusion is an all level class, open to beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. This class is meant to be adjustable, relaxing, and fun so do not be afraid to explore something new, or maybe return to your practice.
