Labyrinth Walking Wellness Series -- program of Friends of Armenian Heritage Park on The Greenway in collaboration with The Greenway Conservancy Fitness Program
This series is an introduction to the benefits of mindfulness, meditation and labyrinth walking for wellbeing.

A labyrinth is a time honored tool for contemplation. It invites an experience of mindfulness that supports an embodied stress relaxation response.

The beautiful labyrinth at the park is always available for you to walk.

LABYRINTH WALKING: AS A SELF CARE TOOL - Saturday, June 27th - 9:00 AM
In our first session Katrina Piehler, founder of Living from Center will share about the power of labyrinth walking as an opportunity to nurture a healthy relationship with yourself and an intentional, holistic approach to your self care.
You'll have a guided mindfulness/breath meditation experience during the workshop on-line and will also be invited to walk the labyrinth at the Park on your own this summer as a way to tune into your own self care.


LABYRINTH WALKING: THE POWER AND HEALTH BENEFITS OF ACTIVE MEDITATION - Saturday, July 25th - 9:00 AM
In our second session Dr. Armineh Mirzabegian - Internal Medicine, Reliant Group, part of OptumCare, will share specifics about the health benefits and power of mindfulness and meditation.
You'll have a guided mindfulness/breath meditation experience during the workshop on-line and will also be invited to walk the labyrinth at the Park on your own this summer as an active walking meditation experience.


LABRYINTH WALKING: CONNECTION BETWEEN MOVEMENT AND WISDOM - Saturday, August 22nd - 9:00 AM
In our third session Kristin Asadourian, founder of KA Coach will share about the conscious connection between mind and body and how meditative walking can retrain the mind to focus on inner wisdom.
You'll have a guided mindfulness/breath meditation experience during the workshop on-line and will also be invited to walk the labyrinth at the Park on your own this summer as a way to connect with your inner wisdom through breath and movement.
