Teacher Workshop Webinar - Fundamentals of Environmental Economics

The Fraser Institute is pleased to invite you to the Fundamentals of Environmental Economics Teacher Workshop webinar.

In this webinar, teachers will review the basics of environmental economics and be provided with effective simulations to introduce the concepts into the classroom. The program will include classroom-tested activities that examine issues such as land use, the tragedy of the commons, climate change, and the power of marginal analysis related to the environment.

The Fundamentals of Environmental Economics Teacher Workshop webinar will be presented by Debbie Henney and John Kessler from the Foundation for Teaching Economics.

This virtual program will take place over one day, consisting of 5 hours, including breaks. Please note the time zone of these sessions in relation to your region. Spaces are limited for this webinar.

In addition to the live presentation and access to timely materials, by completing the entirety of the program you may request to be eligible for a $200 stipend to help subsidize additional educational costs you may incur. Details will be provided on approval of registration.

Our programs are developed to easily integrate with grades 8-12 educational curricula.

Receiving an email confirming that your registration has been submitted is not a formal approval. To finalize your registration, you must receive an approval email that includes your unique webinar login credentials.
