Well, look no further! We are very fortunate to have Canberran ophthalmologist Dr Chih-Hung (Nelson) Kuo as our presenter for this hot topic! In this webinar, Dr Kuo will be guiding us on how to make best use of the OCT, practical tips in assessing macula and glaucoma diagnosis and importantly models of collaborative care in Canberra to ensure we can all best serve our patients.
1. Ability to identify key OCT features for possible treatable macula pathology.
2. Ability to look for OCT signs of early glaucoma changes and its progression.
3. Understand challenges and to be part of solutions in glaucoma care delivery in the ACT and surrounding areas.
Dr Chih-Hung (Nelson) Kuo is a specialist cataract, glaucoma, eyelids and tear duct surgeon. He also treats conditions affecting the macula such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease. Dr Kuo worked as a consultant ophthalmologist at tertiary public hospitals in Brisbane providing cataract, glaucoma and oculoplastic services. Dr Kuo is now appointed by the Canberra Health Service to provide public cataract and glaucoma surgery services, supervising and training the next generation of ophthalmologists. Dr Kuo is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
