2023 NSNA Virtual Resolution Hearings

Proposed Resolutions are formally discussed in the Virtual Resolutions Hearings before being heard at the 71st Annual Convention on the floor of the House of Delegates. At this time, editorial and other changes not affecting the content of the Resolution may be made.

Author(s) must be present during the NSNA Resolution Hearings
April 3-4, 2023, 6:30 PM-9:00 PM Eastern Time when the proposed Resolution is presented at the hearings. They will give a timed statement on their Resolution and be given the opportunity to accept or reject the changes suggested by the delegates in the Resolutions Hearings. All delegates are required to attend the virtual Resolution Hearings. The Rules for Resolutions Hearings are read verbally during the Resolution Hearings and are available on the NSNA Convention Delegate Resources webpage on the NSNA website.

At the virtual NSNA Resolution Hearings, Resolutions are presented in order of completion. This gives each author an incentive to work with the Resolutions committee quickly to secure an earlier presentation time in the lineup. After each Resolution is heard in the Resolution Hearings, it is approved for the House of Delegates agenda.
