You are invited to the City of Charleston's Mayor's Office of Resilience and Sustainability's presentation of the draft Climate Action Plan. Our office has been working diligently with community members since fall 2020 on a 5-year strategic framework to reduce carbon pollution and the draft is ready for the public's feedback. Join us on March 24 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
What to Expect
1) View a short presentation of the draft Climate Action Plan, including the data and science that informs it (approx. 20 mins)
2) Hear from a panel of community representatives that helped create the draft Climate Action Plan about its importance and easy actions residents can do at home or work to be part of the solution (approx. 30 mins)
3) Ask questions, get answers and provide feedback during an interactive Q&A session (approx. 30 mins)
Your feedback is important - an easy way to provide feedback on the strategies and action items of the draft Climate Action Plan is through this survey by March 28: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B6VQG28
