Join us for our monthly next chapter meeting. Chapter meetings are held via zoom the last Tuesday of each month from 6p-7p EST. To join the chapter, apply for free membership at https://prisonerswithchildren.org/membership/
The ATL chapter is the 1st chapter to be formed in Georgia but this doesn't mean that ALL GEORGIANS aren't welcomed. This is a GEORGIA issue so ALL GEORGIANS are welcomed and needed to join the chapter to organize and act on issues that impact currently and formerly incarcerated Georgians and our families.
There are many issues of injustice we want to tackle and organize on but the issue we are addressing first is slave labor legalized inside Georgia's jails and prisons by GA's Slavery Law (Article 1, Section 1, Paragraph 22)- Involuntary Servitude- The legalization of slavery as a punishment for crime.
There is no need to register for each meeting. Once registered, you can attend any of the recurring meetings with the same log in info. Please add the log in info to your monthly calendar.
"Involuntary servitude is just slavery by another name.” ― Dorsey Nunn, Executive Director of Legal Services for Prisoners with Children and co-founder of All Of Us or None
