This webinar is an introduction to coastal processes and Puget Sound habitats and is part of the Island County and Northwest Straits Foundation’s Shore Friendly Program. Shoreline erosion can be a challenge, but it is a natural process. Learn how you can protect and maintain your shoreline property and access while also protecting the fish, wildlife and habitats that we all enjoy. The goal of the Shore Friendly Program is to promote alternative strategies to hard shoreline armor by considering natural solutions. The presenters will be Jessica Cote, a coastal engineer and Traci Sanderson, a coastal ecologist, both employed at Blue Coast Engineering.
