Jewish women made up a disproportionate number of white activists in both the Civil Rights and Women's Liberation movements of the 1960s and 70s, and songs of protest and solidarity were interwoven into their activism. Come learn how and why these women fought for equality and how they used song to build and strengthen collective action.
