The Wim Hof Method is a 3 pillar system of breathwork, cold exposure, and mindset training. For these classes, The Stretch Space will focus on the breathing component of the method, and if time and interest allow, explore the power of the cold shower!
The Wim Hof breathing technique is simple yet powerful and has a long list of benefits, including alkalizing the body, balancing the nervous system, reducing inflammation, increasing physical recovery, strengthening the respiratory system, and much more. In these classes, explore some of the science and physiology behind the method, helping participants to understand what is going on in their body when using the breath method. Explore in detail the breath technique and experience a powerful and nourishing breath practice. These are tools that can be used in daily life for stress and health management.
