Science says consciousness comes from the brain. Spiritual experience points to a higher reality. But neither science nor spirituality can make their respective cases objectively. Since consciousness is an entirely subjective experience, we can only validate the essence of our existence through the deepest internal experience of awareness within us. Dada will talk about how his over thirty years of meditation practice has informed a deep conviction in Higher Consciousness, and introduce a simple technique that if practiced for a few minutes a day can lead to inner fulfilment.
Dada Gunamuktananda trained in meditation, yoga, philosophy and natural health sciences in Australia, the Philippines and India. He has been a yogic monk and acharya (meditation teacher) of Ananda Marga (www.anandamarga.org) since 1995 and has taught meditation in every continent except Antarctica. He is also the founding coordinator of the P.R. Sarkar Institute (www.prsinstitute.org). More information, media and content can be found on Dada’s website: www.consciousfrontier.org
