The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. (Genesis 2:15)
To celebrate the holiday of Tu B’Shevat we focus on celebration and gratitude for the natural world. As part of these efforts, this is also a time for education and re-dedication to our stewardship efforts. In this three part education series, we will root ourselves in text study focused on this concept of stewardship and our connection to the earth. In the following two sessions we will have the opportunity to focus on the science behind climate change, learn about advocacy work that is currently taking place in our community, and learn how we can get more involved in the fight to protect our beloved planet.
