Housing struggles for wildland firefighters and US Forest Service Employees and forest workers - how this impacts our region

As we approach wildfire season, many of those who work hard to prevent and contain wildfires in our region face serious struggles with finding affordable housing, and this seriously impacts our region. Our ability to protect our forests and community from wildfires depends upon large numbers of permanent, temporary and seasonal workers, many of whom struggle to find affordable housing. Join us to learn more about this pressing issue and those who are working hard on creative solutions.
